I am a freelance graphic designer currently based in London, Ontario, Canada. I have an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from Fanshawe College of Applied Arts & Technology & a Bachelor of Science degree with a Specialization in Biology from Western University.
My skill set includes, but is not limited to, hand drawn & digital illustration, photography & academic research. The most recent skill I have been developing is brush calligraphy, specifically using a brush pen. I have a special interest in Catholic media (that is, communicating the message of the Church via printed or online publications, the Internet at large, social media, television &/or radio) & advocacy on behalf of the disadvantaged & vulnerable. My aim as I forge my career in the design industry is to build good relationships, embrace discomfort & continuously challenge myself as I strive to apply my skills to enrich & empower lives.
I love the variation & complexity of visual communication. Each project provides a new set of problems to tackle, calling for a refreshed perspective & an opportunity to learn & grow. I have always been interested in people—they continuously surprise me. I draw from both sides of the brain: being realistic, meticulous & enjoying order while also experiencing a constant urge to create, break free & embrace the random.
Thank-you for joining me!
